Description

This film cutter is the solution to revive your subminiature camera. It allows you to cut custom strips for the 110 pocket format or Minox cameras from affordable and readily available standard film (120 or 35mm).

The system is modular and optimized for safety. You load the film, place the lid on (which gently holds the film), and pull the material manually through the blades. The result is clean cut edges without expensive special tools.

Overview of the variants:

Starting film 120 (medium format):

  • Cut to 110 (16mm): Produces 4 strips of 110 film plus one leftover strip (Minox width).
  • Cut to Minox (9.2mm): Produces 6 strips of Minox film.

Starting film 35mm (35mm format):

  • Cut to 110 (16mm): Produces 1 clean 110 strip from the center.
  • Cut to Minox (9.2mm): Produces 2 strips of Minox film from the edges.
  • Combo cut: Produces 1 strip of 110 film and 1 strip of Minox film.

Compatibility

Our cutting modules produce unperforated film. This works perfectly with cameras that control film advance by friction (not by gears that engage the holes).

How to test your camera:
Open the back (without film), operate the advance, and press the shutter release. If the shutter fires, your camera is compatible. If it jams, your camera definitely requires perforation holes.
