Modular Reproduction Stand "Copy Stand" MK2 for DSLR & Mirrorless Camera Film Scanning

• Wobbly setup when photographing? Many copy stands simply screw the central column on top of the base plate – it wobbles as soon as a heavy camera is attached. Our approach: a 20mm thick screen-printed board with a CNC-milled recess where the aluminum profile fits perfectly. The profile sits flush in the plate, not on it. Result: no tipping, no bending, even with a 2 kg camera-lens combination.
• Quick to assemble and disassemble: Two Fast-Lock quick-release clamps (top and bottom) hold the securely holds the profile in position – assembly and disassembly in seconds, completely tool-free.
• Already have a tripod head? Keep using it. Our 3/8" thread – the professional standard, larger and more durable than the usual 1/4-20 screws – compatible with all tripod heads with 3/8" thread.
• 35mm or 120? With 56cm usable camera height, you can scan 35mm full frame with any common Macro lens and 120 roll film up to ~100mm focal length. The large 32×32cm baseplate is also tilt-proof and offers enough space for 4×5 large format.
• Modular system: The Copy Stand is part of our modular film scanning ecosystem – compatible with our Film Scanner Holder System (negative holders for 35mm, 120, 110, and Minox) and compatible Light sources like the CineStill CS-LITE.

The Copy Stand is our modular repro stand for photographers who want to digitize their analog negatives and slides with a digitize your digital camera. The core is the base plate: 20mm thick screen-printed board – the same material used in trade fair construction and event technology for durable floors. While other repro stands simply screw the column onto a thin plate, we mill a precisely fitting recess directly into the wood. The aluminum profile sits flush in the plate and is additionally secured with four integrated M6 threaded inserts. The result: a stand that remains absolutely stable and vibration-free even with heavy camera-lens combinations. Two Fast-Lock quick-release clamps allow tool-free assembly and disassembly – after scanning, the stand is taken apart and stored in seconds. Instead of Instead of a fixed camera head, our design uses a sturdy 3/8" mount – you use your tripod head or adapter and keep full control over positioning and fine adjustment.

The copy stand is the foundation of our modular film scanning system: complement it with our Film Scanner Holder (Negative holders for 35mm, 120, 110, and Minox) and a compatible light source for a complete, coordinated matched scan workflow.
